New Features in NeedleFinder® Make Review Quicker, Easier, and Even More Defensible

Houston, TX – October 28, 2010

Today Equivalent DATA announced the release of over 30 new features in their proprietary end-to-end e-discovery platform, NeedleFinder® that make reviewing, searching, and checking one’s work easier than ever.

Keyword Highlighting

Users can now designate keywords for in-line highlighting with custom colors. This is in addition to the standard highlighting of words following a search query. The new highlighting feature speeds up the review process as reviewers can see at a glance relevant keywords and where to focus one’s review efforts.

Document Printing

Documents can now be sent directly to a local printer from the application. Choose to print with or without annotations, endorsements, or customized slip sheets. Production images, as well as standard document images, can be printed locally, and users can choose if they would like to include the metadata associated with each document.

Review Searching

The enhanced Review searching functionality included in this release drastically increases productivity, allowing users to more easily navigate the UI and hone in on relevant documents. Reviewers can now search for documents within a batch and search by Analysis category in the Review application. Users can also include multiple web DocIDs or file numbers in searches to return multiple documents at once in a single query.

One Click Access

New click-through graphs give one click document access from the Overview screen so users can drill down to associated document lists for further review. In the Reviewer Metrics tab, the document tag history (DocID) is now also a hyperlink that directly opens the associated document. Additionally, new batch name hyperlinks bring up all documents tagged by a particular reviewer so administrators can track progress and check reviewers’ work with a single click.
